I use Motorcraft batteries in everything I own. Johnson Controls manufactures the batteries for Ford and I have not found anything else that will last as long. I usually get 6-8 years of use from the Motorcraft batteries.
Not a bad job to do yourself, just take your time. I always use a light coat of anti-seize when changing plugs especially in aluminum heads, it can save you from some problems down the road.
I pull a 27' Toy Hauler (6500lbs) with my screw no problem. I went with the Firestone 2525 airbag setup & Daystar cradles. I moved the upper airbag bracket up another 1 1/4" so I wouldn't limit my suspension uptravel. I run 25psi when towing & 5psi without the trailer. I ran out of patience...
