I just bought a BMW R 1250 RS. Parked next to a KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and a Yamaha Raptor 700 SE. '06 Honda Civic (daily driver) and the 2020 F-150 Raptor. Maybe enough toys for now...……..

I'm going to get a small piece of window tint, with just some light shading and see if that helps. I, too, find the screen obnoxiously bright even when instruments are dimmed beyond where I like the light level.

Having owned a SD F-250 I can say that the biggest difference will likely be above 40 mph and below 5 mph. The stiffer suspension on the SD, needed for the tow/payload capacity make it a lesser off road rig. Not saying you can't do terrain in the SD, but over rough stuff you just can't go that...

I agree and also got the 30' bubba. I believe the extra 10' will put the rig you are pulling out that much further from hitting your rig once they're free. That comes from experience, sadly.

First, a bit of whinning. The factory packaging of components is crazy. Getting at some of the maintenance stuff is going to be interesting. Perhaps a (simple) oil change is a good indication. I'm thinking the performance of this thing will cancel out any complaints. Got past what I consider...

Well, I got to 500 miles and changed the oil. Always do around that mark with any new engine. What a gigantic pain in the a$$. Anybody know where to get a oil change valve that mounts in the plug hole? Something with a tube to bring the oil past the skid plate. Which I had to remove. Ridiculous.

My 2020 was $54,120 with the 6% tax included. Super cab with only $500 Torsen differential option. I kept the options off so I could pay cash.

No one from Blaine county would drive a Raptor, maybe a Tesla 3 or a Prius. The rest of us in Idaho don't mind burning gasoline.

One less Prius? You would have to melt down a half dozen of those to make a Raptor. Great looking truck.

I think the course is in Tooele, Utah. Elevation is near 4,500 feet so be aware it can snow in April.
