What color did yall paint valve covers?

Well, since yall seem to only have unpainted valve covers, i had to decide on a color without a reference. Went with Ford racing blue of course.

You didn't do the new timing cover?

I did. It’s a timing cover off another 6.2. Paid $50 for it at a salvage yard, and the engine it came from only had 50k miles. Didn’t wanna risk it with a Dorman cover, so just went OEM, but used. Came with two new VCT solenoids too, which was cool, except that my 2010 had the different VCT connector so I had to order the replacement pigtail.

Oh lol, autozone only had one can of ford blue, so I made the poor decision to leave it. I had a buddy come up to my and immediately say “why didn’t you paint the timing cover too?” So yeah, I should’ve, since the valve covers come off easy anyways and I could’ve painted them later. Everyone makes mistakes lol

Hard to go wrong wolith OG Ford blue. I think it looks good with just the valve covers done.
