If it was aftermarket tires, then at least I know the guy did a good test. If it was stock tires, they are a year old and he's not getting much traction on those things. Therefore, not really loading the new iwe design.

No I know what your saying. I kinda fiqured thats what your after, but I don't want to give to many details away. I'll just say they were 37s".

Ok so update:

So we had gotten out test units back from the snowball run, and they did hold up, and rather well (better than our OEM benchmarks) but not quite up to the point that they meet MY standards. There are still signs of premature wear on the edges of the teeth from deformation, but no shearing or cracking like the OEM units.

Overall, i feel like we are 75% there. But I won't go into production until we have a unit that is at least 100% better than OEM.

Unfortunately the next thing to go out is the wheel hub gear, and being a "sealed" unit, we can't just replace the gear itself, the whole hub has to be replaced, which isn't hard. But none the less, another issue.

6 of 1, half a dozen of the other.....
