Trans temp during normal driving?

What should the trans temp be when just driving around the neighborhood, or at normal speed on the highway?

Only worry when it gets above 240F..then do NOT stop. Drop to 50mph and cruise till it cools down. Offroad that is. Unless you've completely screwed your transmission or cooling system up. Then by all means. Stop.

The stat does not even open till 185 on these trucks..
