When I go into my garage, I want to know the bar is down because I put it that way, not trust that flipping the switch worked, especially in the winter.

So I installed the light tower last night. I had it shipped raw, unpainted so I could linex it. I am very satisfied with the look and build. its a very clean looking tower that follows the lines of the truck very well. The construction is top grade. Radius' are clean and even, welds are even and "pretty" the light mount tabs are where they are supposed to be and are attached cleanly and solidly. I had mine built for a forward 50 and rear 30 and side facing dually D2s. all and all it was a good purchase for me and I am very satisfied.

regarding the installation...the bolt holes are not accessible from inside the bed under the bed rail. This may be a no brainer for some of you but my last rack, had the holes placed so you can simply bolt them from under the rail and when we got the SVC rack we thought there was a fab problem. Jeff cleared that up. You have to reach up inside the gap between the fender and interior bedside through the cave like slot at the front of the wheel well with an extension ratchet and a socket with the nut taped in it and "find" the bolt. it's doable. The back bolts are a bitch, but it's doable. It's like the bolts inside the frame for the ABS +4
Jeff was stellar and called me personally, immediately when I texted him that this tower wouldn't go on. And I am grateful he did. (I had put a ratchet ******** the tower and cranked it in to narrow it so I could get bolts under the bed rail, but that arced the top rail and the 50" light wouldn't fit. and I was headed to a bad place with it.)
I also want to give a shout out to Haynes offroad...I bought the tower through Joseph and he did a great job of keeping me informed and aware of the build process and delivery timing.
again, thank you Jeff!
it would have been helpful to know ahead of time about the install through the fender, that would have saved some time and aggravation...in the end the quality and customer service won the day and celebratory beers were had by all.
but no naked women leaning on the rack pictures for you this time Jeff.... there may be a redemption when the tune arrives...we'll see

thanks guys, one the manual flip light actuator, can it be retrofitted to my existing light tower?

How do the wires route up into the tower? I want to get my wires prepped so once it gets here I can mount and install the lights hopefully before havoc.
There are little holes on the underside of the front bar, I had to drill them out a bit to fit my wires up there then you just push them through, I fished them out of the bottom hole in the feet of the tower with a coat hanger (had to drill that out too).
