Anybody else worried thats purchasing a '17, that they will come out with a v8 in '18

No.

Also, as someone else stated--the truck was designed with the smaller motor in mind. It is set back from the front bumper for weight distribution. You start putting in a heavier and physically bigger V8 and it becomes a different truck.

Face it, Ford is going with this engine and no other. They're doing it for emission and CAFE standards.

People need to get over it.

Specifically the get over it part. I don't know about the design part, but there is benefit to having the motor sit further back

I guess Mike Levine wasn't at that meeting. Stated very clearly on Twitter a couple days ago that there is no V8 coming.

So which V8 is coming in year one? Curious minds want to know?

He said "wouldn't hold out waiting for one". That's hardly a no.

He also said we could order a '17 how long ago now??
