For MY18 This is what is included in the 802 that is not in the 801
I got the 801 and added the stuff I underlined
I got exactly what I want, just had to wait for the order to come in.

Sorry for the noob question....but I am finding it hard to find a "low-optioned" 802a with just a moonroof as an addition.

I have no clue where you live or how you intend to use your truck but here's my 2 cents:

If you're spending around $65,000 on a new truck...why wouldn't you get the options that make it a new truck? In the sense of technologies and conveniences that will make your daily drive more enjoyable. The added $$ is not that much over the life of the truck and you will get more money and sell it easier when that day comes.

That's how you get my build:
802A
Tech Pkg
Moonroof
Tailgate Step
Heated Rear Seats
in your favorite color.

(OK, I also got a spray in liner after the fact but you'll probably want that too.)

I don't know if $67,600 is your sweet spot but here's about 100 likely suspects: https://goo.gl/ee7nwB

Dealers are starting to deal and sales guys need holiday cash. Get on it!! ;-)

This post sounds like my exact story back in May of this year. I didn’t want all the shit that comes in the 802a. I wanted an 801a with torsen diff and spray in bed liner. I don’t like moon roofs because after a few years they make to much noise. After going back and fourth with my dealer it was only a 2K difference from a 801a with À la cart options vs my 802a. My 802a has everything but a moonroof. So I ordered a 802a and it arrived October. Couldn’t be happier

I am thinking the same now. Trying to locate some low-optioned 2017 802a's...before than raised the MSRP.

I don't exactly have a basis for comparison personally.

I daily drive a 13 and have an 18 with the 802A around, but I don't know what it's like without the torsen.

If I'm not mistaken the Torsen is what adds the locker on the front axle??

If you're going to daily drive it and do minor off roading I don't think you'll miss it too much. But if you wanna go hardcore rock crawling and hit up some bad trails it'd probably come in handy.

It's a limited slip front differential

I bought an 18 screw 801A I didn’t want to spend 70,000 on a truck
With options mine was just under 60,000
My options
Sun roof
4.10 front axle
Bed lights
Navigation
Remote start
Tailgate step
Some things I don’t like about the 801a ...
It comes with black rubber door handles ,side view mirrors, tailgate handle...
802a is painted
The dash is cheap black plastic ,I think the 802a is leather stitched....
The tailgate on the 801a i ordered the soft open kit for $42 online

It's not leather, but it sorta kinda of looks like leather. I just wish that the whole dash was the faux leather, there is still a lot of the hard plastic on the dash.
