Spyder Headlights?

I love mine! They do need HIDs in the Lows and 100 watt bulbs realy work well in the highs.

[Raptor Retrofit]

Being new to the Raptor, can you tell me what the differences are, and if you have an opinion, which would you buy.

Where do I start, lol.

Recons are tinted chrome not a solid black, it looks cool in the shade but has a purplish glare in the sunlight - not cool.

Recons ccfl's and led's are not nearly as bright as the other brands. Apparently they offer brighter led's now but I had the old ones so I cant comment on the new.

Recons marker/turn signals and led's are tinted like the rest of the headlight, which I like, the other brands are chrome.

Recons due not have a cutoff shield in the projectors, Ive been told the other brands do.

Bottom line is the Recons are not worth the $400+ price. I bought them thinking they were superior and ended up taking them apart and completely retrofitting them. I love them now but for the money just buy the cheaper brand and upgrade to HID's.

Yeah you just have to defocus your eyes and you can see it. Like one of those old 3D posters!
