South Texas Raptors?

I'm going to be taking a trip from Colorado all the way to Crystal City Texas (southwest of San Antonio) in late February to go on a pig hunt with my old man and granddad. I've been debating between bringing the Raptor, or taking my older FX4. My main concern is this: it sounds like the Raptor is kind of a hot commodity for those with fewer scruples than most law-abiding citizens. Another thing to consider is that we'll be about 50 miles from the Mexican border.

Does anybody know the area? Is this a good idea?

Peel the FX4 stickers off you f150, put them on your Raptor, then you will have perfect camo

I'm from south Texas, it will definitely grab some attention down there, but just carry on as you would at home. Lock the doors when you're out of it, don't antagonize anyone with that monster, and be friendly.... Now if you we're going into Mexico, I'd say rent a car
