We were notified by the ford app. It came after the restaurant made an overhead page about my truck. It WILL notify you, but the thieves will probably be long gone.

I tested mine and it alerted me only a few seconds after the alarm went off. Maybe there was a network slowdown at the time.

I had Ford add the Ford accessories perimeter alarm to my factory alarm. I also recommend adding this to your truck. I have it on my shelby as well. I had a loud truck park next to me at the gym the other day and the Ford app alerted me on my phone that my alarm was alerted before the guy even got out of his truck.
