rear facing spot light?

hey guys I recently ordered a new rear window because my current one shattered out of no where

Anyway I decided to go with a single pane of glass and not the slider since I never used it anyway.

Then I got thinking maybe I can use the wires that will be there from the old slider motor. If I rig up a rear facing light (for backing up or for a "screw you" light) can I use the wires there to power the light?

If so does anyone have any ideas on where to mount a rear facing light or two?

Should work. You'd prolly have to change out the switch though.
