How tricky was it to disassemble the rear bumper? I went to a paint shop for an estimate on bumpers and flares, $1500. I thought, you are crazy. I can remove everything and just have someone spray it all. He said the plastic on the bumper typically breaks when you try to remove it.

Dealer where I bought mine quoted $1100 for same.

I figure I'll find a local paint shop to do it for less.

Yeah, this is exactly why I want to see yours. It's impossible to really show how the orange is going to look in a photoshop.

rear bumper was not too bad. 6 bolts and 2 license plate lights. and the trailer plug. the plastic covering has what looks like plastic clips attached. you have to press them together and slide them out as you go. here is a pic of the bumper plastic. the hitch comes out with the bumper also. my painter is charging me $1,000 to do 4 flares. 2 bumpers. and the little plastic pieces under the rear fenders. seems everyone forgets them. not much to the rear bumper. just 2 end pieces to paint. jack

Looks clean. I painted my bumpers, fenders, & grill matte black to match my method standards on my white raptor.
