Shocking results!

1. Guy posts on internet forum asking if he should buy used for a LOT less money or new

2. No one says get the used one and save a ton of dough

what is an appropriate price for the 2010 with 20k miles? It literally looks new inside and out. but its the 5.4L base model

Get the 2014 if you can afford the difference in price. All Raptors seem to command high resale value esp. with the low miles which is rare.
But the 6.2 is better for this heavy beast. I have a 2013 Scab 6.2 & it will fly.

If the 2010 had the 6.2 it would be tempting. If you can get that deal on a 2014 & can afford it, go for it.

well i just had a dream where buying the 2010 was a better choice financially... 35k OTD compared to 45K OTD for my raptor on order....

called my buddy and the 2010 is still for sale... so if I can get it for 35-36k OTD i think I'm gonna do it today... the truck only has 20k miles

10k seems like a small difference for the age difference. Sure, it's only 10k miles - but that's only like ~$2500 per year.
