Im planning a trip to the mojave trail jan 11-13th 2013 with some friends and figure I'd expand the invite to anyone else that would like to join.
Traveling the Mojave Road will be a 3-day excursion. We will meet up Thursday night January 10th, The trip begins at the Avi Casino next to the Colorado River where we will meet, eat dinner and stay the first night at the casino (rooms are cheap), then continue onto the Mojave trail fri thru sat and Sunday ending in Afton Canyon near Barstow. Last years trip was incredible, but we rushed to get through it, so this year the extra day (Friday) will allow us to stop and see almost all of the cool stops.
This trip is open to everyone, but keep in mind......
there are no showers, no bathrooms, gas stations, convenience stores, hotels and especially no g-damn Starbucks available during this trip.
Even though this is a four wheel drive rail, it is not necessary. Last year we had 2 trucks and 1 SUV that did not have four wheel drive capability and made it through the trail just fine, but it would be nice to have just in case.
Feel free to invite whoever, the more the better, this is one of those trips that everyone should experience once in their lifetime
shoot me a PM if anyones interested
