there will be no 2017 Raptor in my future. I have a buddy that is a big wig at my local Ford dealer and another guy I trained for a year or so who is the finance manager. Still the best they could do was 15K over sticker.
I built my truck out and it was 69035.00 we call it 70K so they wanted 85K plus tax and lic. am I cheap - stupid - or is that just nuts? oh and this was a hook up they have the first 10 they get going at 25K over sticker.
I can buy a F150 and make it drive a circle around a Raptor for that price.

Some one clue me in please am I just not at the right place? or is everyone paying crazy money over MSRP? is this everywhere or just my ****** area?
you guys with the new ones on order congratz to you I will be jealous in my 2014.

what is the avg price you are building them at? not the extra the MSRP? pretty much I clicked on everything they offered lol even the orange trim on interior, lol

Get a hold of Team Ford in Vegas. They are devoted to selling no raptors over msrp. It's no biggie to buy in Vegas and register here in CA. I did it with my 2012.

Nothing wrong with waiting. I waited for the 3rd year of the gen 1 and got my truck for $1000 over invoice. So many dealers in Ca were asking crazy markups, screw that.

Out the door tax and license in high taxed California I was right at the MSRP of my truck. It was like driving away paying sticker and nothing else.

Also they may add some new features, options and colors, they always do. And you'll be glad you waited.

Unless it's something you need right away, save your money and the aggravation and walk away.

Bought one today

I feel your pain on paying over MSRP. I walked into dealer today and said I ain't paying $10k over MSRP and they said see you later. I eventually paid $9k over but that was really a trade-in wiggle. I really like the truck and I'm happy but cannot believe that I just paid $69k for a truck. It's badass though. It'll definitely roll!! And it's gorgeous too. Other dealer was charging $10k over too and no one else nearby had one.

$9k over! Damn! I have no doubt its gorgeous but no way, I'd personally wait. Guess if you got the cash to burn. If people are paying this kind of mark up I'd almost consider selling mine and buy another one later!

My dealer is getting a LB SCREW for dealer stock, I'm sure he would sell at msrp when he gets it. It was clean at the same time mine was. Mine builds next week.

Went today to get a part for my 2011 Screw and as soon as I had parked two salesmen come over and ask me if I've seen the new Raptor yet...... after the normal its not a V8 etc, I ask him what's the dealer mark up?

Which he proudly announces that its $50,000.00!!! I say you got to be kidding!!! "sticker" was $109,000.00!!!

Makes me glad to have my Gen1, and looks like I will for a while longer.

I don't recall the Gen I having markups of this level, even with the earth shattering awesome sound of that V8....:lol2:

Gen II must be in very high demand in comparison.
