Hello All,
I have a stock 2020 SCAB with 34k miles. This morning I was accelerating from a dead stop and suddenly there was a loud rattle from under the hood and a major loss of engine power - BUT no CEL. I pulled over and popped the hood to check it out and noticed the harmonic damper was wobbling severely. No joke - thought it would come flying off any second. I had it towed to the dealer and a technician confirmed that one of the bolts had broken off and it was very likely the crank had been damaged.
Does anyone have experience with this problem? I know bolts break and harmonic balancers go bad with time.......but its a 2020 with low miles. Never saw this coming.
