Gen 3 bumpers fit Gen 1?

Just heard from a local body shop that OEM gen 3 bumpers bolt directly to Gen 1, is that true?

Don't know, but it would probably look goofy even if it did. The Gen 1 valance is flat across the bottom. The Gen 3 isn't, so you'd end up with large/inconsistent gaps. The lower grill pattern will also be different than the main grill. Maybe that wouldn't bother you though.

No, that's not true. Every generation is different. You also don't want to put an F-150 bumper on your Raptor or vice versa. You need to get a bumper made specifically for your Gen 1 truck. We have some options in stock if you're interested.
