Come to Baja they said. It will be fun they said. Well, they were right again, LOL! Another EXO trip in the books, just incredible. EXO really goes above and beyond with planning and overseeing these trips. If you're thinking of going, and if all the pics and videos I will upload doesn't do it, well...... If it does, check out EXO, great people, great trips. Met and hung out with great people and FRF member Peterb. We all had so much fun!
This trip was incredible for many reasons. Due to Hurricane Ian, Baja was more like a lush green rain forrest, than a barren desert, it was beautiful! Lots of water crossings, lots of mud, lots of washouts, lots of truck issues, some worse than others, it's what to be expected. Flats, broken windshields, broken off mirrors, broken bed cages, broken spindle and UCA. I got my first flat, but my luck was running. Got it at the hotel, noticed it at night, changed it in the morning. Better than being on the trail in the sun. I once again had 2 weird failures, last run going into LaPaz, lost a u-bolt nut and my steering wheel came loose. Definitely from all the rocks, but it was fixed. There were some people that unfortunately got food poisoning. It was weird, didn't effect everyone, and we all ate the same stuff? Just weird.
