I see Dorman is now making an aftermarket IWE assembly for our trucks p/n 600-105. Has anyone happened to try one and see how they hold up compared to factory?

The actuator is not the only part of the IWE and just the new actuator is not going to completely fix a problem of not completely engaging. Reason is the actuator and the hub both have gear teeth to mesh. The actuator is new and the hub is not so there is still the chance that there will be a skip in the meshing but not as bad. I did this but still have to be careful when first starting out in 4 wheel drive after switching into 4x4.
