I love the ACC, and I think @FordTechOne hit the nail on the head. I’m sure it’s a safety thing, it’s just a new experience to me. My 2012 Power Wagon sure wasn’t this fancy!

I really enjoyed the feature on the truck that I had (CA traffic!), but as you said, every system has its limitations.

I’ll be curious if it’s ACC related. Let us know what ya find.

I ran the same curve with ACC turned off and it did the same thing, slowed down about 5 MPH. My guess it is the traction control nannies that are doing it.

Sounds like Advance Trac (stability control) is intervening. With as well as these trucks drive it can be easy to forget they weigh almost 3 tons and are riding on All Terrain tires.
