Loving my mud flaps!

Just installed my mudflaps two weeks ago from PDP (proven design products). They were a bit of a pain in the butt to put on. I had to go to the hardware store and get self-tapping metal screws because the ones supplied kept snapping off. I also had to jack up and take off the back two tires to install those mudflaps. You can turn your front tires to get the front two on. Once that was all said and done, I was good to go. It took about two hours.

I live on a dirt road that is plagued by puddles that never seem to go away, and I was sick and tired of having mud and dirt all over my running boards and the side of my truck (unless I crawled through the puddles at a snail's pace). With these durable mudflaps, I have NO problems anymore, and I actually think they look pretty frickin' cool...imho.

Here's a few pics...:waytogo:

scratched, dented, dinged and dirty paint looks like shit too. pick your poison. :peace:

but seriously. i only run my flaps in the winter. when spring rolls around, i grab a stubby phillips head screwdriver, and take out the 3 screws on each side. once the white stuff and salt starts flying, i'll set aside the 3 minutes to reinstall them. if it's the dirt and mud that gets you then why not just install them before a run and take them off afterwards. it's a simple step in prevention.

those look nice atticus. I have the PDP ones as well with blue fox text on them. I'm going to install them after I get the rear wheel wells line-x'ed. I held them up and the rears will actually work reusing the stock flare hardware so no holes needed out back. The front I'll have to pop a couple. I'm sure it'll take me half a day to install them I'm so OCD on getting them perfect lol. Already have it planned out on how I'm going to align them vertically and horizontally. They won't hang below the lowest part of the frame so they shouldn't drag off roading, yet they'll still provide maximum protection of crap slung down the sides.

You seem to love stickers and logos. What's the sticker on your front left bumper?
