GEN 2 Battery Sensor Fault

So this didn’t trigger a CEL but I have a B1438-03 error. Anyone seen this before and know of a resolution?

DTC B1438:03 is “Battery Current Sensor - Frequency Modulated/Pulse Width Modulated Failure. Have you checked to make sure it’s plugged in and properly mounted? Also, if you clear the DTC does it return?

OK where do I check - where is the sensor? And yes, it returns almost immediately.
