Apple Car Play Connection Problem

Anyone have Car Play connection problems aster the IOS 17 update? I have had issues with the phone staying connected and trying to reconnect after a lost connection. I have had to do the forget this devise and do a full phone reconnect a few times to get it working again.

This all started after the IOS 17 update.

Mine only works in the morning. When I leave work later in the day it will not connect even if I “forget this device” and try reconnecting. Started a few weeks ago.

Update your phone to the iOS 17.0.3 version. iOS 17.0.2 has had initialization issues with all CarPlay equipped vehicles.

Search for the update by going to Settings->General->Software Update on your iPhone

Did the update to iOS 17.0.3 seems to be working OK now I guess we’ll see

I just updated to 17.0.3 and wireless CarPlay has been pausing and disconnecting/reconnecting intermittently

Mine disconnects and then reconnects seconds later every few days. Also tends to glitch when near max volume.

Mine disconnects and reconnects in two particular spots here in Socal. Also does the same thing in my wifes Q7.
