Very nice, Corey. So your saying by leaving the inside part of frame support "open" ( "C" ) design that the rear crumple zone has "room" to crumple "inwards". As compared to "clam shell" type design
This is a very controversial topic, every company has "their" best fix for the problem. Without actual "crash test data" there is no way to really know how a frame stiffener/bump kit will effect the "crumple Zone".
