My non heated passenger side mirror was hit and needs to be replaced. A friend told me that the wiring harness is there to add a heated mirror and should just bolt up. Has anyone swapped out the mirrors on this year. Is there anything else I would need to change? My truck already has the rear defrost window and climate control. It also has the tow package. Not sure if that matters but some of the threads about other years and models mention needing that package if upgrading to Tow mirrors. I want to keep the stock looking style.
I might as well upgrade the mirror while I am replacing it if its not too much of a hassle. Don't care about the blinker or folding aspect, just want the heat.
