Have you seen the outrageous prices they want for vehicles right now?! lol I have zero interest in paying 45k for a used vehicle with 75-100k miles on it. (Exaggeration but you get it)
It’s my only vehicle. I wanted to keep it but the economy isn’t my friend etc. gotta do what’s best for my...
It did end up being the lead frame for mine. I haven’t had any issue with it since. Idk if the 2011 was covered under the recall, but I’d definitely check your vin and see just incase.
Okay well….new question…any suggestions for a shock replacement? Like a brand other than fox? Mine came with the fox shocks and the ones I got in the mail from AutoZone (I was trying to save money since I’m moving) did not fit lol I really hate to spend 1800 per shock suggestions, and reviews...
Just an update, we replaced all the pads, rotors, and the lines. We think it was in fact the lines since they were damaged looking. I forgot to get photos as it got REAL late since we replaced the AC condenser and compressor at the same time. We are doing the shocks this weekend and god willing...
Thank you! I may look y’all up once we get settled! I’m changing it out again this weekend and will do all the things everyone has mentioned. I’ll post pics of everything after. Maybe it’ll help the next person.
I may reach out to y’all when we get there! We are gonna be in west TN so only like 1.5hrs from Nashville.
I’ll be replacing them again this weekend and will follow all tips everyone gave me, just to be sure. The whole truck has some rusting randomly. Im assuming who had it before me lived up...
We are moving because my mother in law gave my husband his childhood home/land since she remarried and moved. We are tired of these rent prices lmao It’s so much cheaper there
The lines look clean but I’m wondering if I should just replace them since it’s only that one side acting up. It’s...
I get them done at the ford dealer when I can’t make it out to my dads to do it. I would hope they’re installing it correctly. I know we did it and it was done correctly. I’ll double check this evening though. Thank you.
I hate to be back on here looking dumb. I’ve searched the thread and can’t find anyone with this issue. Ive replaced my driving side rotor/brakes 3 times in the past 12 months. Something is sticking. I even replaced the caliper 2 months ago thinking it was locking up since the rotor is getting...
I tell myself I’m gonna fill up at half then procrastinate. I’m a glutton for punishment. I live in a busy overcrowded city and filling up sometimes 2x a week. Growing up was the dumbest thing I’ve ever done lmao
I can not confidently say yes. According to the place we had it done at, they claim it was. Unfortunately they seem to have a bad rep for not actually doing work. (I should have researched them.)
We did check it last week and it seemed ok but I intend to get it done at the same time if I can.
