Can you confirm that it is made in the USA? I couldn't find that info on the website but I see a flag on the battery itself.

Just ordered the odyssey from 4wheelparts.. I am still on my stock battery in my 2011, in service was 2010!..

Stupid question of the day...
What is all this re learn info people are talking about when swapping the battery? Be nice..

The PCM is always monitoring conditions as you drive and the way you drive for the conditions of a drive.
It then writes a predictive set of values in the tables of Tune for what the truck needs to do next at any giving time.

Removing the battery for 15 minutes is the way to reset the PCM and clear the KAM, if you experience problems, glitches,
even with the Nav unit and BCM module since it's tied into the PCM or even when you do mods to the drivetrain.

I personally don't bother with trying to save it, there will be default values in place.
The PCM will write as you drive and set a new predictive table every 50 miles anyway, and about 150 to 300 miles for a complete transmission cycle.

Putting in a fresh battery will probably need a PCM reset if your old one was that weak.

The only time you may want to not reset the PCM, is if you have to get it inspected right away and your state requires a OBD11 hookup.
It can take up to 6 drive cycles (50 miles each) with 8 hrs. of the truck being off, to complete the readiness of O2s, especially in the winter months.

So, is it recommend to let it reset when I change out since mine is old? It isn't weak, just old and the indicator is red, it still starts fine.

I would.

I'm not sure why some are back feeding power through the cigarette plug.
I have a 2010 1/2 with Nav with Sync and premium Sony sound system, I don't lose any settings.

Can't speak for the My Ford Touch system, maybe these guys lose some personal settings.

Also I'm not to sure if you back feed it, it would stop the PCM from resetting.

Resetting the PCM is not a big deal.

I just received mine today. Originally ordered on 12/18/15, so delivery was good.

The postman that delivered it looked at my second floor apartment, and asked for the key to put "my toy" in the truck.
