Yeah its identical from another professional detailing shop. Must not be using the proper mixture potentially for suds.

Maybe try a different soap? There are varying levels of foaming agents out there and some foam better than others and of course theres also the concentration of them in the formulation.

Also, in my experience, anything thats a "wash n' wax" type products will have problems with foaming. The wax seems to kill the suds for some reason.

Really shots in the dark though - always hard to know exactly what causes the differences. Anything from water quality, soap brand, pressure washer type, etc all can have a role in it.

Maxi suds is a well respected product, so no problems there.

That cannon appears to be an MTM from what I can tell. Honestly, not many other options out there and most companies just private label the MTM so its almost certainly the MTM.

Thats a nice pressure washer with plenty of power and flow to get the job done.

Assuming you're diluting the car wash to the specifications theres only a few other possible issues:

Make sure the adjustment knob is cranked all the way open. I've seen plenty of people using a cannon not realize they had the top adjustment turned way down.

Make sure your foam cannon doesn't need a cleaning. The intake tube can get clogged as well as the internal mesh filter. Running some CLR or a similar mineral remover thru it to get anything out helps if its been used a few times and you have water with lots of contamination.

Lastly is water quality. While I haven't experienced it first hand, I have heard of some people having issues when on well water or water wtih lots of mineral content. Like the contamination in the water kills the foam.

Other than that I'm out of ideas. :)

I have chemical guys Honeydew too. Really like it. I have Adams, but waiting for the Honeydew to run out. I have some Meguires left from long time ago, it won't foam at all, it sucks. I fill my foam cannon about 30% soap, rest water.

Thats still a wastefully heavy mix. Overkill if you figure with a 32oz bottle on the foam cannon, 30% soap... thats almost 10oz of soap per wash. You might as well light a couple of dollar bills on fire while your at it.

A good soap should be able to generate lather comparable to what I had in that video with 2-3oz... even going to 4-5oz tops.

I used a 1/4 cup measuring cup for the SCG cannon and soap and had no issues. Was able to do two vehicles with 32oz of mix.

Video doesn't work for me.

So far, I've never found anything that removes the fine layer of dirt other than rubbing. Haven't seen how the foam is typically removed. Pressure washer? I live in the boonies and we have dirt/mud, not city smog, that's on the truck.

Suggestions ?? (not there, it's just as hot here...)
