I have seen the video and diagram done and they are outstanding. Can any one tell me real quick below? I have a 2012 if that makes a difference. My owners manual is not in my truck.

#1 - yellow to red (red outside)
#2 - Green with black stripe to green (green outside)
#3 - what to what (what color outside)
#4 - what to what (what color outside)

Hmm I'm not sure what you're asking STU. When you say "outside" do you mean the wire that passes thru the firewall into the engine bay?

If so, those wire colors are whatever you chose to use. They're not terminated on either end until you actually wire them up, so pick which color you'd like to use on which switch, and go for it.

Or am I misunderstanding?

Hey Big J - reading my question I see it is confusing. Ok - behind the glove box, you mate the yellow to red which represents auxilliary switch one by the red wire sitting in the engine compartment (outside). If you wanted a winch for switch one you would hook the winch up to red wire. I need to know what 2 colors to mate for switch 3 and swith 4 behind the glove box. And, in the engine compartment, what color represents the connected 3 wires and connected 4 wires? From memory I was thinking3 was blue to purple and obviously purple in the engine comparment represents switch 3??

Ok I gotcha. Yeah so from switch three its a purple wire with a green trace, and from switch four its a brown wire.

What color wire you connect that purple w/ green and brown wire to is totally up to you. There is no set requirement. So for example, lets say you wanted to connect a light on your front bumper to switch three. Behind your glovebox, find the purple w/ green trace wire. That is switch three. Now find any available 'outside' wire; lets say its pink. Wire that purple w/ green to pink. Now in your engine bay, find pink and wire that down to your light. (Pink isn't an available color, which helps the point I'm trying to make... it doesn't matter which "outside" wire you pick, so long as its not already used behind your glovebox.

Does that make sense? Here's the diagram again just in case: http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z260/JasonWilliamPics/2010 Ford Raptor/Aux Wiring/aux_wiring3.png

it doesnt matter which one you use, as long as you hook it to what you want under the hood so the switches line up with your intended purpose.

Another suggestion.....whatever you choose, write it down so you don't need to go into that small compartment again. ;-)

As for me, this is what I chose:

Aux *1 - 30A Yellow to Red
Aux *2 - 30A Green/Brown to Blue
Aux *3 - 15A Violet/Green to Green
Aux *4 - 10A Brown to Purple

PERFECT - I made that way too complicated but your first sentence is what I needed - thanks brother. Also, if Im installing D2s - butt connectors are ok for behind the glove box? Video showed soldering and heat wrap and my hands are way too big for that?

Glad to help!

Butt connectors were good enough for me. I think ideally you'd do as the video shows, but realistically IMHO butt connectors at these power levels, assuming solidly connected, are good to go.
