An SSM was released for this issue. The service message states to update the software in the Driver Door Module (DDM) and Passenger Door Module (PDM). I updated mine last year and it resolved the issue. For anyone that has access to IDS, you can do it yourself.

Gonna try resetting the memory function and call the dealer regarding that SSM. Thanks for that info, FordTech.

Yes, if you modified the calibration in the DDM or PDM, it will be overwritten by the new software.

My passenger side mirror does this and it drives me crazy. I only seem to notice when I'm backing or turning left and need the pass. side mirror that instant!

Even though SSM 49217 doesn't mention 2013 trucks, this would still apply?

This does not apply to Gen 1 trucks. They use a completely different system.

Mine only does it once in a while which I told the Dealer, they couldn't get to do it so they just added some grease and called it good.

If this is reported, should they apply this reprogramming?
