I had a 2017 on order for 6 months, my dealer said it was "converted" to a 2018... I think he is lying to me but I am now #1 of his list for the 2018... Time will tell if he is lying. Anyway my particular build went up $900 over the 2017 build, I did the math...
1% to 2% increase.

Google the 2018 price guide; someone made a nice spreadsheet comparing all 17 vs 18 models and options.

without looking out up again myself, it basically comes down to whether you wanted tailgate applique and heated steering wheel - if yes to both it's about $300 more, if no then congratulations your paying an extra $900 and getting them anyways (assuming you get 802a). You can delete applique but won't get any money back.

My 2018 build, which includes tailgate appliqué, went up $298 over the current 2017 build price. I believe that there were two or three price increases in 2017.

My dealer told me that Ford gradually raises prices throughout the selling season so that the pricing for the incoming year looks about the same as the end of season outgoing year.

It went up less than the MSRP markup they were getting for 2017 here in the northeast....

Now dealers who I had inquiries with at MSRP are calling with 17s on the lot, they are willing to talk now.

I ordered a 2017 in November and took delivery a couple weeks ago. Price had gone up on the sticker a total of $1040. $100 of it was destination going up, the rest was an increase in base MSRP. My dealer honored the price it was when I ordered.
