This looks awesome. Not sure what you have to do to use it but I want it.

I have, Chinese product the picture on the screen seem like from the 1960 TV set. My dealers has NavTool in a demo truck, now that looks really nice. I'm planing to order one as soon as i get refund from naviks.

That's cool, but I am trying to see practical use cases for when it's truly useful and not finding a lot in my usual workflow.

- For one, the truck already has android auto so you can "mirror" your phone albeit in a limited shell.
- Second, would I ever want to watch videos in the truck in a fairly low res screen when I have plenty of quad HD screens within reach on phones and tablets?
- Third, I am not so sure I'd ever find it useful to have my email display on the car screen as opposed to the phone itself. Same with texts or any other straight content consumption/interaction workflows.

Am I totally missing something here?

In my 801a, I have NO nav. This would allow me to do nav.

Other than that I don't really care.

Does the 801a not have android auto? I thought all Sync 3 systems came with android auto functionality?

Also, if you put your phone and google maps/waze on a decent mount up by the vent or near the nav screen, isn't it already there where you need it? What extra utility do you get by then projecting it to a second lower-res screen right beside it?
