I thought this might be engine knocking, but I'm not quite sure. It's definitely not the alert/aid for the lane keeping system as I tried and replicated the issue with and without lane keeping on.

When I'm accelerating easily or maintaining a speed I feel slight rumbling in my steering wheel every half second or so. My butt feels it slightly as well. My MPG gauge also goes all over the place when I feel it (generally always above 40-45 mph).

Actually, i think it is more accurately confirmation bias. It’s the phenomenon of seeing or noticing a problem or issue that you’ve been exposed to pretty much everywhere, and particularly so in situations when the issue is not present. Confirmation bias is far more common than we would like to admit and we all suffer from it to some extent, in some situations. Some of us more than others. It’s easy to pick up on when you understand what to look and listen for. A mechanic, or someone in a similar “troubleshooting” profession whose mind is made up, absent sufficient evidence or in the face of contrary evidence who still insists or maintains the biased assessment.

Remember, he or she’s not only advocated for holing the intercooler, creating a leak on the underside of the vehicle, but insisted that we would have a 2017.5 Raptor with a V8 and new tail lights, as well as doing a like of some other Gen2 user’s transmission failure.

Back to OP’s issue. I’ve not yet watched the eco gauge, I’d be more inclined to suspect knock sensors pulling timing, and doing so erroneously.

Hunya - are you using 4A or 2H ?
I might understand it more if you’re running around in 4A, but in 2H why would you have a steering wheel vibration felt?

I am using 2H only right now. I wanted to suspect timing, but the engine is so new that I didn't want to sound like an idiot. The dealership gave me a loaner 2017 F-150 EB and it was misfiring so badly the whole truck was shuddering and my passenger noticed it. It's not nearly as bad as that was, but very similar type of vibration.

probably best not to lead the mechanic off in any particular direction.
FWIW, my last car was a turbo outback, which would try very, very hard in eco mode to not downshift and simply boost through most throttle conditions, unless you used sport mode. Sport was notoriously less economical but no shuddering. The Sube would shudder under the eco mode programming just like you’re describing. Low rpm, tip in throttle, or very light acceleration to maybe an inch or so of pedal. That would get the car accelerating, but not briskly. If you put the car in sport, the trans would downshift and no shuddering.

I suppose we’ll see what the dealer comes back with. Hopefully they get a diagnosis.

I put it in sport mode and same issue. It's definitely noticeable. I picked up a passenger today and they asked what the shuddering was.
