I hear you about doing this a helpful service but the risk should not be only on you. I personally would do everything in my power to get them back that way you can see if they are truly bad or he was expecting something they are not and can never be.

Mistakes happen and I am sure you would have made it right if in fact a mistake was made.

Trick raptor. It was 105 to ship them as it was springs and shocks. The other concerns I have was this person took forever to reply to send me shipping costs. So I don't know now if he ever send them back. Kind of in a lack of trust with them right now. I n their email they said if i wanted them back i was to send them a shipping label. Not fair to you to pay for them to be returend when u not in the program. (His were rebuilt at shop along with other work haha)

I don't do a core charge or other items businesses do because 1. I am not a business and 2. Cost and hassel. This is meant to help the community not be a pain. Issues will come up but this person did not even work with me. Just got "new"shocks per their email.

He probably sold both old ones. Sounds like a real ****

I am not out money only time. The program is setup so things are done at cost or a maybe a little proffit. But that goes right back into shop supplies like rags, degreaser, paint Yada yada.

Oh well. Just keeping people in the loop. Sending one set out Monday and fixing the sets I have to get sent out. Waiting on kits now as burned through another 5 sets haha.

It is not fair for anyone here to pay the $100 to ship them back. All the shocks we have were donated to start the program. Considering none rebuilt shocks are $400ish the donators are the ones that are out. If this guys sells both sets he would make 800 possibly.

Even though I am not a business and he is hurting the program, I still need to show respect to his privacy as I do with all of those who used the program.
