Hello. Interested to see this build come together. Make sure to start a build thread when everything starts coming in

And no, I'm not trolling. I've been emailing Hellion, Circle D, and Livernois already getting more info for the build.

The truck will be driven daily for less than a year, then used very rarely other than in the winters. It will be kept in a heated garage to prevent as much wear as possible. I need to have a long talk with my dad about letting engines warm up before driving too...

how did your father order one? Order banks are closed.

I didn't know they weren't taking anymore orders. He placed the order 2 months ago or so. I don't know much about it, I'm living in Wyoming right now and my dad is back in Iowa.

Just give livernios a huge stack of cash and they will give u a 6.6L stroker engine with a Whipple on top. Or go with a low compression 6.6L stroker and the hellion twin turbo!

My dad isn't a huge fan of superchargers, he had a Roush F-150 for a couple years and wasn't too impressed.

Build the tranny too if you want reliability

Already planning on it.

1000 rwhp and a daily driver with reliability.... :ROFLJest:

Haha, relative reliability...

Well then hellion is a good option. Sounds like he has big power plans...does he expect it to see dirt or just pavement?

For the most part, just pavement, but the truck will be used to go out hunting, check on fields, and gravel roads occasionally. We don't have any off-roading or anything like that in Iowa. I'm sure I could convince him to let me take it off-roading here in Wyoming when he visits though.

So has the domestic market never heard of twinscroll? Or are the benefits not really there in larger engines? I've emailed Hellion and Livernois about building twinscroll headers and it seems like they're avoiding the questions.

Edit: After looking at the firing order, I see why. That would be stupidly complicated to produce.

With a 6.2l engine you do not need twin scroll. Simplest build would be a built 6.6L with a whipple sitting on top.

A 6.6l with a TT setup will make crazy power but you will have more work cut out for you on the setup. I would drop the truck off at someplace like Livernois, SDHQ, RPG, SVC, etc and have them build it. As you will need suspension, upgraded drivetrain, etc etc. Just get ready to drop a quick 50k and more like 100k if you want the full setup including Long Travel
