Tow the raptor

I plan on towing the raptor with a tow bar on my bus. This is what I came up
with.

Yes, The 2013 can be flat towed. I still have to set up the brakes to help stop the bus.
6000Plus lbs is a lot of weight to stop. The bus weights 43,000 lbs plus the truck is a lot to stop.

Do they make a flat tow kit for the raptor or are you just planning on putting it in neutral to tow? By flat towing in neutral alone I see some negative effects possibly happening. When people bought the edges, Taurus and other vehicles with the 6F35 transmission they flat towed them and when they went to drive them the vehicle wouldn't move. By flat towing the vehicle the transmission components are still turning from the wheels that are turning the driveshafts. This fried these transmissions and it was bye bye to any warranty. The raptor does have a different transmission 6R80 instead of 6F35. Just some things to think about you don't want that transmission spinning without lubrication from the pump. Flat tow kits will put the transfer case into neutral so they were safe to flat tow. The ranger always had a kit and so did a few other vehicles.

I don't know anything about flat towing, but when you get that enormous truck hooked up to an even more enormous vehicle, I want to see PICS of it! Or even better, some video of that setup going down the road.

Towed with no problem.

I'm sure you know what you're doing but I  do wonder about the strength of the two welded attachment points. Over 6,000 pounds pulled and turned by those two U-shaped pieces welded...
