From the owners manual:

In 4L (4X4 low), the electronic locking
differential will automatically
disengage at speeds above 62 mph
(100 km/h) and will automatically
reengage at speeds below 56 mph (90
km/h)

That is the DIFF not the low gear in the transfer case.

Think he means the locker, not 4x4 Low?
Can you even get to 62mph in Low? I've had it screaming pretty good in 6th in the dunes... didn't really pay attention to the speedometer, but I don't think it was that fast.

Personally I don't know how you can go that fast in 4L without noticing but if the manual is talking about the locking diff disengaging when going faster than 62mph in 4L, would that not mean you could go that fast in 4L?

I really would have thought there was no way I would have not noticed.
Once I got back to my trailer storage area and disconnected the trailer and drove off and I felt I was in 4x4 low and looked over at the switch and sure enough It was.
So I switched it off.
I really think the system disengaged otherwise I cant see how its still driving fine now.

I did seem to have a strange odor like propane smell but it was very sporadic so I kept thinking that was coming into the cab from my AC on and traffic.
I guess I best check the transfer case fluids.
