I made a recent trip towing my RV and I kept getting "trailer not connected" message and "trailer connected" message on and off constantly. But in the entire time, my lights, indicators and brake lights were fully functional on my RV via the Raptor.

Is this a false message?
What could be wrong?

Its not a false message, thats the message you get when you press the brake controller when there'sno trailer connector plugged in. I would check the connector and put some dielectric lube on the connectors, clean them first if they are corroded or dirty with some electrical contact cleaner.
