Wondering if anyone has any experience with the Rigid RDS-Series 30" Midnight Edition, or any of the Midnight Edition Series?

I just bought one for my ADD Venom R front bumper, anyone?

i have a 54" RDS midnight on a-pillar mounts and Im in the process of putting 4 midnight cubes in the front bumper opening.. whats the question?

Im pretty happy with the light output, and the look on the truck.

Its an awesome light, but I did have to send it back to them for repairs after it was about a 3 months old. They fixed it and its been great ever since.

How does it perform? I know they look great and I like things blacked out.

the performance is great. they rate it same output as the chrome version. It's really nice having it up high, as it stays pretty clean and mud free.

A bunch of the vendors have some great sales as well, so nows the time.

I was looking at them but I noticed they output less than the regular ones

I was concerned about that at first, but after talking to a few people they work great and you cant tell the difference, they look Bad Ass!

I think they are going to be great!

the specs are the same between the regular RDS and the midnight RDS. It's just black hardware are a slightly tinted reflector. I think most of the light comes out of the optic on the LED lights and the reflector is more for catching stray light.

The leds are just as bright but the dark hardware reduces the lux. I was looking at the e series 30" and the midnight edition is 3110 lux at 10m and the regular version puts out 4350 lux at 10m.

I seen that as well, but talking to someone that had both lights side by side he said there is hardly any difference. He is a off Road Racer and i trust him.
