Why am I having trouble programming my garage door opener. I'm following the directions in the owners manual and I still can't get it to work.

Try YouTube. As my garage door was like 24 years old and it worked. Make sure battery in remote is new so you get the best signal when trying to program the truck.

I just programmed mine yesterday. I stood on a ladder to press the button on the garage door opening mechanism. When the light came on, I had my wife push the remote button in the Raptor.

After that was done, she pushed the button in the Raptor again and it worked.

I'll try that also when my friend comes over. Where is the button located on the garage door opener, is it easily accessible? Thank you in advance for the help.

It is a small square button on the back of the opening mechanism inside the garage. You will need a ladder or stepstool to reach it.

Most of them look similar to this. https://my350z.com/forum/attachment...rolling-code-to-home-link-system-imgp1315.jpg

Thank you BudTx and my friend should be over in an hour. I'll keep you posted.

Yeah!!!! I just did it myself. Mine was a round button, I pressed it and a red light started to flash, ran to my truck and pressed the button twice like you said to and when I pressed it a third time the garage door button on the raptor worked. Thank you so much, you're a god send. I've had to use my old remote with my truck since April. Now I can put it back in my car.
