2017 Raptor Twin Panel Moonroof or Not?

Reasons against -

1. Quieter
2. Less heat gain/loss
3. More headroom
4. Less to go wrong/rattle/leak
5. Lighter
6. More structurally sound
7. Cheaper

Reasons for:

1. It's a damned cool moonroof

My thoughts exactly. I still havent decided if its worth having or not.

If it was a no-cost add, I'd probably do it.

It's a really, really big hole in the roof though. Meh.

I've never really understood why people dislike sun/moon roofs. I keep mine open all the time when I'm driving. I really missed it in my 2013 xlt. The 2017s twin panel makes me want to order a new one!

My wife couldnt care less for them.

I thought it was a cool feature that my wife liked and my daughters will love. So I went for it.

Will it leak like the older sun/moonroofs?

Will go going Scab next round, so I won't have to worry about this option.

Scab does have single panel sunroof though, right? You're not
going with that option?

No twin panel for me. I can't stand the noise when a moonroof is open or the heat that comes in when the shade is open.

My wife on the other hand won't buy a car without one.
