You could always just unplug the trailer connection under the dash. It’s free that way.....

I did this and it works perfectly! What does that plug go to exactly? Anyone have a wiring diagram?

As I understand it, with it unplugged you will have no trailer lights. That said, I can not say one way or the other what it does other than I don’t have to deal with Auto start stop.
