GEN 2 powertop brake kit - way cheaper!

anyone try the powerstop brake kit? we had this setup on our Miata and it was fantastic... it's no big brake kit, but improved braking!

so carbon-fiber ceramic pads are worse than stock pads?

I've had ceramic pads on my AMG - zero dust, no noise - and great braking

Just replace the pads.

Powerstop is garbage...had them on a car years ago, rotors cracked after 4,000 miles.

R1 is the best pad and rotor upgrade IMO

I've never come across "cheap" drilled rotors that didn't develop cracks

Terrible pos. Set like that lasted on our explorer for 5k. Never again!

When it comes to things like brakes or suspension, cheap almost always means crap. There is a reason stuff in that category costs a lot of money.

For less than $55 per corner more than these, I can get you a complete set of our R1 Concepts package. Before I worked for Freedom Motorsports, I put on some so-called cheap brakes and knew something wasn't right soon afterwards. Lasted only a year and took them off this week. Put ours on and now know what everyone talks about and feel even better selling them. Don't go cheap on something important.
