Curious on how many miles the Gen2 owners are getting from the 36 gallon tank? (full tank mileage) ... 500+?

Just finished 1300 mile trip. Average over four days 17.4 mpg. Including 3 days around town. Shows 600+ to empty on full tank. Love it.

Computer or actual MPG?

Is that the computer mileage that the truck says you are getting? or are you doing the math at the pump?
I had a 15 F-150 Eco and from what the truck says you're getting compared to the actual mileage using math at the pump were 2 different things. The truck always said you were getting 1 1/2 to 2 MPGs better than actual.

That is truck mileage. I haven't checked it on paper yet. However, I have extensively kept records and checked mileage on several other Ford vehicles. 2008 F-250, 2011 Escape, 2013 F-250, 2014 Raptor, 2015 Mustang, just the last few. I can reliably get within 1/2 mpg of what the computer shows. I keep a log of fill ups and mileage so I can get a running average.

I filled up in Albuquerque,NM and drove to my house with almost exactly half a tank left. That is 371 miles according to google maps so I expect the mileage to work out pretty close.

Edit: 17.4 was the running average for the 1300 mile trip. I should have filled truck as soon as I got home to check mileage. If it took 20 gallons from half to full(should actually be less), that works out to 18.5 mpg on that half tank.

I too write all mine down as well and my 15 F-150 eco was consistently 1 1/2 to 2 MPG's off. Bugged the crap outta me.

I always work out close to computer mileage. Maybe driving habits affect average computations? I can also get 1-2 mpg better than my wife on any vehicle. haha. Even just driving down the highway. I can beat her every time. she hates it.

Yep... mine seems to be +/- 25mpg. I'm sitting just under 500mpg at 1104 driven... driven hard.

thanks for the replies. I currently have a 14' FX4 5.0. / 3.55 gearing. Full tank I can get around 525 to 575 miles depending on terrain. Curious to see the difference. Looks to be similar w/ the Gen2 which is impressive.

I have yet to break 15MPG in my Raptor, on the dash. Have not check using math. Driving back from Dallas to Phoenix, it was saying 12.5, then down to 11.8. Now this was doing 80 with a 20-30 headwind. but after that I got it up to 13 overall for the 1,100 trip. Since then I'm at 14.8. I wish I could see 17.4! But wait someone was driving east from ALB to TX, that 20-30 headwind I had was their tailwind! Ha.....
