Fully aware but if this was credible place they would have manned up a long time ago and handled it.

Default Taillight fixed
Read all the posts and replies... thanks. Yes, I agree that this was a warranty claim that never should have been denied. IMHO Ford has the worst warranty claim process next to Dodge/Chrysler from the days before Mercedes bought them out... can’t speak to the here and now. Even the dealer agreed it should have been covered under warranty. But once a vehicle is sold, and is in the warranty claim process, and dispute, the dealer cannot do anything to override the warranty division, they won’t even give the dealer the little money (P18 funds) to offset costs that assist the dealer to resolve these types of issues. My vehicle was flagged by the warranty claims division so I could not take it to another dealer because it was denied. However, once the case was closed, the dealership owner stepped in, and even though we both agreed it should have been covered under warranty, we resolved the issue. Yes, I paid $275.00, while the dealer covered the rest, but the dealer will not be reimbursed by Ford. I posted copies of the e-mail exchange between myself Ford Customer Relations. Some may call me soft for agreeing to pay, but, I know a little about the car sales business, and I didn’t think it was right the dealer eat the entire cost, because they could have done nothing at all, and I could have been on the hook for the whole amount. Sometimes descretion is the better part of valor, working with your dealership will ensure positive results in the future. I bought this vehicle 110 miles away from home, so I didn’t bother going to my local dealer... I have found, that if you didn’t buy the vehicle from them, they may only do the minimum to get your vehicle in and out of the shop. They certainly would not have assisted me any further then saying claim denied. So in the end, the $275 was money well spent.

That is absurd, I cant believe that. I see what you did and understand it, but I could never have given in.

Oh yeah and Mopar service is still horrible. I have a Jeep JK and a Ram 2500 as well as a Raptor and I could go on for days about what Mopar has claimed to be the cause of my issues, and tried to deny claims. Id probably never buy another Mopar again, I have 2 brand new vehicles from them and feel as if I have no warranty. Lets hope my Raptor is better.

Default Photos of the taillight cracks.
I was asked a while back to submit photos of the cracks on my taillights. I apologize in advance, but I was OBE with medical issues. But I have detailed some photos of not only my vehicle and a suspect taillight imperfection on a brand new Raptor on the dealers lot. Additionally, my friend in NJ is developing these cracks in his taillights as well. It is my contention that because Ford is using the same taillights with the BLIS as they are on the standard 2015-2016 F150, there was no consideration given these taillights fit flush with the standard F-150, however, the raptor body panel is wider then the average F-150. So after driving the raptor in various conditions, with body flex, etc. these cracks are forming as stress fractures.
