2018 Intake different than 2017 Intake

Anyone else notice how the intake tubes are different on trucks from a 2017 vs. 2018. I attached a picture of race red truck and an 2017 intake.

It's to help with the weep hole

You definitely have no clue, because you're a fawking moron.

Could be anything from a different supplier for that part to a change made to reduce NVH... or any number of other things. I am not familiar enough with the intake tract of the '17 to know what is in the area of the intake tubing that has changed between '17 and '18.

I just checked AutoTrader and all of the ones that have photos of the engine look this way.
