i do like to take the truck offroad....... too many gadgets and stuff will start to break offroad

I thought the reason you put all the gadgets in, is so when you're stuck, you have something to do...
There don't all have it though. At the Philly auto show I was looking at two different 2015 f150's, one had the fancy tailgate the other didn't. So they may or may not choose to include it on the Raptor. I'd personally love it, I have a tailgate shock on mine right now and an actuator that locks it with the door locks. But they may not include it on the raptor to keep weight down and keep things simple for less to break while offroading. I think it'll be bundled into an options package, so guys who want bare bones don't get it, and guys who want the full luxury packages etc can get it.

It could change of course, but if you "Build and Price" any 2015 F-150 on Ford's sight the "Power Assist" is packaged with the tailgate step option.

Tailgate Step with Tailgate Assist
The tailgate step is fully integrated inside the tailgate and the step comes down folded out. Includes lift assist feature.
what is 'lift assist'?
