2017 Ford Raptor vs 2014 Shelby Raptor

If it was anyone other than a bumper company I may believe them, but until Livernois, JDM, Roush, or Rasco tell me a stock 17 rap can beat a whippled 6.2 I can't/won't believe it. So alas I will wait until I see it myself, but I will not hold my breath.

What does ADD have to gain by this? I could totally see all those aftermarket companies telling customers to basically stop buying their parts and order a new raptor as you're going to get pumped. Now that would be excellent marketing

They just need to release official figures. Not quite sure why anyone gets worked up, they're all great trucks regardless.

Ok, well 'Keeping Up With' is very different then 'being faster than' which was the claim above.

He's saying that your whipple 6.2 is gonna need a stroke. We'll slap tuners on these little 3.5's and be pushing right there with the whipple but with less weight and a 10 speed. Its pretty simple really

The new Rapture is going to be sweet, no question. There are easily 2 dozen or so milling about here. I am not sure what the reception is going to be, because there are,"That ain't no V8!" guys, there are,"My old Raptor sounded better!" guys and then the guys that are just happy to have the truck back in the lineup.

Just wait until she is here, officially, then worry about numbers. There are far too many variables on the platform for there to be published numbers, yet.
