Question for SCT Tuned Raptor Owners

Ordered the tuner + aFe intake combo from 5 star tuning and am just curious...

Are any of you making adjustments to the shift pressure, rev limiter, etc. with the programmer in addition to the settings provided by 5 star tuning?

Or are the 3 tunes that are loaded in the tuner already optimal for the truck in all aspects?

I dont have a 5 star tune.. but that is what your paying for...

Works good out of the box...sounds like you might benefit from a custom tune and some Dyno time...no complaints from mine running 93 performance...

Yea mike and those guys spent a lot of time working on those tunes to get everything they can outa these trucks! The only thing I do is take the speed limiter off. Other than that it's awesome!

Same for me. Only change was to remove the limiter.

Just installed a 5 star 93 performance tune yesterday shifts are better and
Acceleration is a lot better top speed limiter is gone also I think
You will like the 93 performance tune

Agreed. I'm also running the 5 Star 93 performance tune. It's great.

I am running the 91 tune, works great. It is alot more responsive. I don't have much access to 93 octane fuel around here.
